Mets pitcher Mike Pelfrey pitched 7 innings of shutout ball. He allowed 5 hits and stuck out 6, while walking nobody. The Mets need Pelfrey to keep on pitching the way he did yesterday because other than Johan Santana, the Mets don't have any other starter they can count on, and they need Pelfrey to be that guy.
